“LIMITLESS.”
What better word to describe our God?!

It’s also an accurate measure of what He can do through a church that’s totally committed to Him. With this in mind, we’ve embraced a two-year generosity initiative at FBC.

The initiative begins on the heart level as we explore God’s design for generosity, and then translates into tangible action as we expand our physical capacity for ministry through giving. We hope you’ll join us as we witness God do immeasurably more than we could ever ask or imagine!

Dear FRIENDS,

We are living in an incredible season of growth and opportunity at FBC! This is a pivotal moment in our church's history, and I am so grateful that you are part of it. I truly believe God has placed you in this church, at this time, for a special purpose.

At FBC, we are more than spectators—we get to partner with God in His kingdom work! Does that excite you? I hope so! Each of us has been uniquely gifted by the Holy Spirit to contribute to the life of this church, and God is graciously using us to equip believers to love Him, love each other, and influence a world that desperately needs the Gospel of Jesus. The pattern we see throughout FBC’s 160+ years of ministry is that as God’s people are faithful to the mission He has called us to, He provides an increase.

Once again, we are experiencing “increase” in the form of many new families who have chosen to make FBC their home and partner with us in mission. Our heart as a church is to say “Yes” to God’s provision of growth and expand our capacity for ministry. This is why we are embarking on an all-church discipleship journey focused on generosity. It takes bold steps of faith to follow God into the future of our church, and it takes faith-fueled generosity to make room for more ministry, more outreach, and more impact.

In Ephesians 3:20, Paul reminds us that God is “able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to His power that is at work within us.” We serve a God who far exceeds our expectations and equips us by His Spirit to do amazing things. As we trust Him, our faith grows, our passion for His Kingdom deepens, and our generosity becomes an overflow of our desire to see the name of Jesus lifted high.

We’ve chosen the word “LIMITLESS” as a banner over this entire initiative because we are confident that God wants to accomplish more than we can imagine in the months and years to come, beginning with the transformative work He desires to do in each of our hearts.

So, will you join us on this LIMITLESS journey? As you engage in this journey, I pray that God fills you with a sense of anticipation for what He has in store, moves in you to take bold steps of faith and generosity, and deepens your love for Him and His church.

Get ready—great things are ahead!

In Christ,

LIMITLESS Goals

1

100% Engagement

LIMITLESS is, first and foremost, a discipleship initiative. We are calling on every man, woman, and child at First Baptist Church to embark on a journey of spiritual growth as we become a people characterized by generosity in every aspect of life. Imagine an entire congregation united in prayer, actively engaging in ministry, and joyfully giving resources to advance God’s Kingdom!

2

$10.5 Million in Generosity

Through much prayer and discernment, our leadership is fully unified on a vision that will propel us into the next chapter of ministry at FBC. This vision unlocks new opportunities for life impact and gospel outreach, as well as a continuation of our current ministries. As we step out in faith-fueled generosity, we are confident God will provide the funds to meet our current needs and carry out the future calling He has given our church. We have seen Him do amazing things already, and He’s not done yet!
